SugarKey® Multi-focus is an Australian made herbal medicine (Australian Medicine Number: AUSTL 177219) developed from natural plants with years of study and proven clinical outcomes. Traditionally it helps to maintain healthy carbohydrate and blood lipid metabolism, as well as blood sugar levels in health individuals. It is traditionally used to relieve symptoms related to internal heat, Yin and body fluid deficiency and to promote blood circulation. It can relieve mild gastrointestinal tract inflammation, excessive vaginal discharge, diarrhoea and support urinary tract health in Damp-Heat pattern.
It may also reduce symptoms of mild inflammation and improve general well-being.
What are the active ingredients that SugarKey Multi-focus contains and what are their properties reported?
Phellodendron amurense dried bark:
Known as Amur Cork-tree bark, it possesses properties that remove damp-heat, quench internal fire, counteract toxicity and relieve consumptive fever.
Studies revealed that Phellodendron amurense contains the marker component named Berberine which has been well studied in the phytopharmaceutical industry. Benefits of Berberine has been revealed and reported. These include but not limited to:
- Significant anti-microbial and anti-inflammation activities
- Promising effect in counteract of symptoms related to metabolic syndromes ;
- Anti-oxidant and immune boost activities.
This product contains standardized extract of Phellodendron amurense equivalent to Berberine 250mg per capsule.
Pueraria lobata dried root:
Known as Kudzu root, it has the property that relieves stiffness, promotes the production of body fluid, facilitates blood circulations.
Directions:
1 - 2 capsules each time, 2 times daily, or as advised by your practitioner.
Each capsule contains herbal extract equiv. to dry:
- Phellodendron amurense bark (Amur cork-tree bark) 4.2g
- Standardized to berberine 250mg
- Pueraria lobata root (Kudzu root) 1.1g
